While going Nashik, on Pune-Nashik highway, at Moshi, we got an opportunity to taste famous Kolhapuri Misal at Hotel Savata Mali. This is another famous misal spot around Pune. The rassa (gravy) was awesome, spices used in the misal, made it more unique. You will have combination of farsaan with medium spicy gravy. Kata Kirr Misal is classically eminent Kolhapuri style Misal, with zesty gravy. In Misal, they serves three types of gravy (rassa), spicy, medium and light. You can choose for any one of them. Spicy rassa gives unexplained satisfaction to spicy Misal lovers. Buttermilk is available to digest spiciness. After serving to customers for five years at Karve Road, Katakirr Misal has shifted to their new premises, near Kalmadi School, Nal stop, off Karve Road. The new refectory is roomy and surrounded with nice greenery area. Owner is giving consistent quality from many years with brilliant service which will not disappoint you.

The mixture of spices used for the preparation of Misal is really tremendous, while having experience, you will come to know. We would like to mention some rule of this place. There are boards in English and Marathi registered. Some of them are‘Do not share a single Misal. Shegaon Kachori Center, Deccan Gymkhana,Pune.

After having numerous posts on Misal Pav spots, we have brought, Shegaon’s famous Kachori. Kachori is principally come from Shegaon which is mainly famous for Shree Sant Gajanan Maharaj who was great Saint and Yogipurush. This 60 years old food, in recent times, Shegaon kachori got ISO 9001: 2008 certificate underlining brilliance of the slenderness which is all lay down to go globally with food outlets in New York, USA. Tirtharam Sharma, the person who makes the combination of this dish in 1950 in the Shegaon and made it popular across world due to consistent quality.

As we said in our earlier post, Pune city is having many famous misal pav places. Somes spots are small but their misal taste forces you write on them. Today we are going to put in the picture about one of the prominent misal pav place that’s have very different and inimitable misal taste.

Malhar Misal House, knowing for the kolhapuri style misal, located near Dange Chowk. We know, the kolhapuri misal usually have spicy taste but when diverse combination of spices used in the misal, the taste becomes special. Malhar misal house is having same mania, they used spices another way that outcome into spicy awesome misal curry. This misal is having grouping of whole farsaan, matki dal, and misal curry with onions.
